what kind of food can i buy other than frozen. something that i can make for lunch other than tv dinners?
What kind of food should i buy at the groceries other than frozen food for lunch. i am sick of ham and cheese any other lunch out there that is not frozen and easy to make and pack for school.
You have access to a microwave, right?
Soups
Pasta salad with raw veg’s (not mayo based) should stay good until lunch time
Left overs to be heated in micro
Burritos, breakfast or bean, meat or chili
Couscous salad with fresh vegs
Genoa salami to snack on
cheese and crackers
pretzels and peanut butter
Fried rice
Cook a pork chop and rice the night before and take to school to heat up and have a good lunch along with some fruit or veg’s
BBQ beef or pork in a tupperware container. Take a bun along. Warm the BBQ up and put on bread for a sandwich
Tuna salad or tuna mixed with pasta, peas, mayo and onion
