Infant Car Seats?
I’m trying to decide between the “Graco Infant SafeSeat” and the “Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat”. Anyone have opinions on these? Thanks.
They are both good. The big difference between the two is the safe seat can hold a weight of up to 30 lbs (which will allow it to be used for the full first year 99% of the time). The SnugRide has a lower weight limit and you might have to get a rearfacing convertabile seat to carry you through the first year.
I decided on the SafeSeat. The problkems with it that since it is bigger it does not easily fit in certain highchairs at restaurants and isn’t steady o many shopping carts. To deal with these problems we often use the stroller at restaurants and either push the strolelr when shopping ( that takes two people) or put the car seat in the main portion of the cart (this eats a lot of room, but is safer for the child with any car seat). The car seat is also heavier, but that just has helped me get arms toner faster.
Just my experiences and thoughts.
