Car seat trouble…..a little help?
I hate putting in carseats!….Anyways…I must be a total fool or it’s my car, but I’m having so much trouble with my daughter’s new car seat, but her infant seat was like this as well….It seems like I can tighten and tighten and tighten the LATCH system, but it won’t get tight enough no matter what. Then I though, “Well, I have bucket seats..”…but don’t most cars have bucket seat nowadays anyways? The “level” line is leveled out fine, but I dunno it’s like I can get no car seat to fit properly…. Did anyone else have SO much trouble putting in a car seat? and how did you ever get it to fit properly?

I plan on taking it somewhere tomorrow to see if they can help me fit it, but I’d like to do it myself if I could, so that’s why I’m asking.
LOL, I guess I’m just a fool …I never thought of putting more pressure on the seat with my body, I’ll try that and hopefully it helps a little…
sometimes they suggest a rolled towel under the back of the base closest to the seat, I have the chicco key fit and I had to literally climb in and squat on the base to put enough pressure so I could pull the strap to fit snuggly and level ( I’m sure my neighbors thought I was a crazy persons shaken that truck all over ) Each base is different but it’s not uncommon just do the best you can and your local fire department will usually check it over for you. My sister like to go with me for that part since the fire fighters around here are pretty cute LOL! Good luck to you.
